Hi there and welcome! Thanks for visiting my site, I’m excited to have you.

Here’s a little bit about myself. First and foremost, I’m a writer. I graduated in 2016 from Taylor University in Indiana with a Bachelor’s in Professional Writing. I’m a freelance writer and editor of devotions, book reviews, web articles, and faith-based children’s curriculum. Some places I’ve been published include The Secret Place,  The Aboite Independent, The Call magazine, and Church Libraries. My goal is to gain a full-time position on the editorial staff of a publishing house or magazine in the next year. Currently I’m in the process of writing the manuscript for the first book in a YA fantasy trilogy.

I’m inspired by the fantasy and science-fiction genres, photographs that are rich in color, and orchestral music. I can’t ever get enough of the great outdoors and good conversations with people (especially when coffee’s included). Throughout my life, my hope is to be an encouragement to young adults who are experiencing transition. The journey out of high school, through college, and into the real world presents some intense challenges, I’ve already found. My goal is to be a resource of things I’ve learned along the way, and of wisdom from others (via conversations, articles, books, etc.) that have helped me grow. No matter what turns my life and career take, I want to use my passion for writing towards my love of people.

Please feel free to contact me!  I hope to get the chance to know you!

Sincerely,

Erin
